1. Agreement

Welcome to Godveo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and LifeStream Television LLC, doing business as Godveo ("Godveo", "we", "us"), and govern your use of the Godveo mobile app and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you are at least 13 years old(or the minimum age required in your country, if higher). If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Your account

  • You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact us.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
  • You may not impersonate another person, create accounts solely to abuse the Service, or operate more than one account for the purpose of evading enforcement.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and immediate.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the videos, comments, photos, and other content you submit to Godveo ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Godveo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, perform, distribute, modify (for technical purposes such as transcoding), and create derivative works of Your Content solely to operate, promote, and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except to the extent the content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or to the extent we are legally required to retain it.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of submitting it. By submitting Your Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own it, or you have all rights necessary to submit it and grant the license above.
  • It does not violate the rights of any third party (including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights).
  • It does not violate any law or our Community Guidelines.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow our Community Guidelines , which are part of these Terms. Without limiting them, you may not:

  • Post content that is illegal, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, or that promotes self-harm.
  • Post content that infringes someone else's intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to access another user's account, scrape data from the Service, reverse engineer or disassemble the Service, or interfere with its operation.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
  • Use automated systems to interact with the Service in ways that violate these Terms.

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. We aim to act on user reports within 24 hours for serious violations.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, logos, and trademarks — belongs to Godveo or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other branding without our prior written permission.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA-compliant notice to support@godveo.com including:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material (URL or in-app location).
  • Your contact information.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act and have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond to valid DMCA notices and may, in our discretion, remove the content and disable the uploader's account.

7. Reports and moderation

You agree that we may review content reported by users and take action — including hiding, removing, or restricting content and suspending or terminating accounts — at our discretion and without notice. We are not obligated to publish, retain, or restore any content.

False or abusive reports may themselves result in action against your account.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Supabase (data and authentication), VideoStreamline / lifestreamcdn.com (video infrastructure), Google, Apple, and X/Twitter (OAuth sign-in). Your use of those providers' services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for their actions or content.

9. Subscriptions and payments

Godveo's "Subscribe" button is a free follow that lets you see a creator's new content in your Subscriptions tab. It does not charge any money. We do not currently offer paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, or any other paid features. If we add paid features in the future, additional terms will apply and will be clearly disclosed.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GODVEO AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 USD OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (currently $0 because the Service is free).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Godveo and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or if we are required to do so by law. You may close your account at any time in Settings.

The following sections survive termination: 4 (Your Content — for the license to content you've shared with others), 6 (Intellectual property), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of liability), 12 (Indemnification), 13 (Termination), 14 (Disputes), and 15 (General).

14. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Prince George's County, Maryland, or the federal district court serving that county. You and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms (plus our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines) are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms doesn't waive that right.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • Assignment. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
  • Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll give you at least 14 days' notice before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
